Hi im William and I will be talking about the army and the benefits of military training on your physical and mental fitness. There are more than 10 countries in the world that say you have to do military training for security reasons. In New Zealand it's voluntary to join the army.
Fitness is a huge part of Army life – and maintaining the Required Fitness Levels is critical. As a Soldier or an Officer. advice on nutrition and fluids from the Army health specialists. Both regular physical activity and healthy eating will not only get you fit physically but keep you mentally sharp – which is critical in all aspects of Army life.
Entry to the nz army requires good grades and fitness, the better your school marks the better your chances of becoming an solider . The minimum requirement from your education to get 3 points in english maths and science to get in the army.
Once in the army there are many levels of service you can get . There is mechanic, cook, builder, coms (radios and stuff) engineer and Gunners. You can join for a minimum of 4 years to it being your life's career and the hardest one being in the SAS.
The SAS is the smartest, strongest and most dedicated army personel for New Zealand. The SAS can do everything from flying planes/helicopters to swimming and taking out people in boats. The SAS also go to all corners of the world to provide homes, food and assistance, even sometimes they fight in wars to help other countries.
The SAS have to first meet the requirements that is needed, then they have to have a medical test to see what they have been doing. After that you have a small test about what you will be doing in the SAS. Once they have finished that they have to have a 2.4k hike with rocks in a hiking bag.
Why fitness is good for you. Fitness is good because it helps your body get get healthy and a relaxed mind. Usually people who are not that fit are more likely to get sick and get bad diseases for example type 2 diabetes.

Car Project
Louie and I made this presentation. I was interested in how many different cars there are and how powerful they are. My favourite would probably be a V8 Holden. Louis is a Ferrari 458 Italia.
